Gränges Q3 2026 Earnings Surge 50% as Shares Rally
Swedish metal specialist Gränges announced its third‑quarter 2026 financial results today, reporting a 50% jump in net profit to SEK 1.2 billion on revenue of SEK 6.5 billion. The company’s earnings per share rose from SEK 1.80 to SEK 2.70, driving the stock higher by 12% in early trading.
Management highlighted strong demand for high‑strength steel in the automotive and construction sectors, as well as a favourable currency mix that helped offset raw‑material cost pressures. Analysts noted that the 50% profit lift is the largest quarterly increase since 2021 and has pushed the share price to a record high of SEK 80.00, up 15% from the start of the year.
"Our focus on operational efficiency and a robust product mix has delivered the results we were targeting," said CEO Anders Dahl. The company plans to reinvest a portion of the earnings into expanding its high‑performance alloy production line.
Investors reacted positively, with the Stockholm OMX Stockholm 30 index gaining 0.4% following Gränges’ announcement. The company’s market capitalisation rose to SEK 30 billion, reflecting the confidence of the market in its growth strategy.
Financial analysts expect Gränges to maintain its upward trajectory into the fourth quarter, citing continued demand for lightweight, high‑strength materials in the global automotive industry.
