Bitcoin ETF Inflows Ease to $232M as BTC Lingers Below $80,000
US‑listed spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $232.1 million in net inflows on Wednesday, a 26% drop from Tuesday’s $314.4 million and the smallest single‑day inflow since August 18. The decline comes as the eight‑day streak of positive net flows now totals roughly $2.8 billion, trimming year‑to‑date net outflows to about $2.03 billion. Cumulative net inflows have climbed to $54.6 billion, while total net assets across the ETFs sit at $98.6 billion.
The slowdown follows Bitcoin’s brief climb above $80,000 on Tuesday, after which the cryptocurrency settled around $78,759—down 0.3% over the last 24 hours. Despite the muted price action, market sentiment strengthened, with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index rising to 71 from 65, remaining in “Greed” territory.
Other crypto‑asset funds also posted healthy inflows. US spot Ether ETFs recorded $192.4 million on Wednesday, marking the eighth straight day of net gains. Meanwhile, US spot XRP ETFs attracted $28.1 million—their largest daily inflow since January 5—bringing cumulative net inflows for the fund to $1.62 billion.
