Stifel Boosts Trex Stock Rating Amid Strong Demand Momentum, Sets $55 Price Target
Stifel Securities upgraded its view on Trex Inc. (TX) to a “Strong Buy,” citing robust demand for the company’s composite decking, railing and other outdoor products. The brokerage lifted its price target to $55 per share, up from the previous $48. The upgrade follows a series of quarterly earnings that surpassed expectations and a growing pipeline of residential and commercial projects. Stifel noted that Trex’s cost‑control measures and expanded distribution network are helping the firm maintain margin resilience in a competitive market. With the company’s share price hovering around $50, the new target represents a potential upside of roughly 10‑12%. Investors are watching whether the momentum in the outdoor living sector will continue to translate into higher revenue and earnings growth for Trex.
