Gold Price Today - Gold Analysis – Gold Price Analysis

Spot gold fell in Asian trading to around $4,281.98 per ounce, while US December futures stabilized near $4,317.50. The subdued movement reflects market caution as investors refocus on the path of monetary policy, especially after recent economic data reinforced the view that the US economy is still capable of withstanding higher interest rates.
Gold is trading on the one-hour timeframe near $4,286, after opening the session at $4,288. The chart shows that the metal is still moving within a short-term downward trend following the continuous decline from the $4,360 region. However, prices have started to form sideways movement near $4,280–$4,290, indicating an attempt by buyers and sellers to rebalance after the recent downward wave.
Meanwhile, the MACD indicator shows early signs of weakening seller momentum, with the MACD line moving near -11.23 points against the signal line at -12.27 points, while the histogram bars have turned positive near 1.04. The crossover of the two lines indicates an attempt to regain momentum, but their position below the zero line means the broader picture remains weak, and any recovery requires breaking through nearby resistance levels for stronger confirmation.
