LSEG Teams Up with Nvidia to Speed Up Historical Market Data Retrieval
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has announced a partnership with Nvidia to harness the power of GPUs for faster processing of its vast historical market data archives. The move is expected to cut data retrieval times by up to 50%, enabling traders, analysts and institutional investors to access deeper historical insights in near‑real‑time.
LSEG’s data platform, which underpins the LSE, Borsa Italiana and other exchanges, will now run on Nvidia’s latest GPU architecture. The upgrade is part of LSEG’s broader strategy to modernise its data services and support the growing demand for high‑frequency analytics.
